FAQ

What is difference between a nutritionist and a registered dietitian?

Registered dietitians are board certified food and nutrition experts accredited through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. They undergo extensive training and education in food, nutrition, and metabolism. In Arizona, there are no requirements to be a nutritionist, so they may be unqualified to provide nutrition advice.

Does my insurance cover visits with a registered dietitian?

Most insurances cover medical nutrition therapy! Call us to schedule an appointment and we will verify your insurance coverage for you.
